Ryuutaro watched the little exchange carefully. He was fairly sure that he'd get to see it a lot in the future. Hayato sure knew a lot of people here. Even if his relationship with them didn't seem to be the best at most cases, he was an important part of this group for sure.

And then he blinked at the mere idea of Hayato treating him like this. As if. If that had been the case, so many things would've gone completely different between them.
Ryuutaro chuckled his mysterious ~~kinda-evil-girl-ish~~ trademark-chuckle, closing the fan to fanshush himself with the sweetest of smiles.
"Of course not."
He wanted to say something more, something to make very sure how special he was to Hayato, but he figured he shouldn't do that when the object of talking was right next to him.
So he turned to focus his attention on his boyfriend again.
"So if you're fifteen again, that almost makes us same age now. That's quite a bit odd, I have to say."
Though... not being so much younger than his boyfriend wasn't so bad.

Hayato pauses in his little bitchfit at Yamamoto to look at Ryuutaro a bit surprised. Yeah... that would mean they're only a few months apart now. Hayato was still a bit older though... it would have been just too odd if Ryuutaro was suddenly older then him.

"Yeah we are, aren't we?" He laughed and rubbed the back of his neck, at first he thought the de-aging would be annoying, he was physically 17 after all... but this made it a bit more bearable,"I guess bein' 15 again ain't so bad then."

Yamamoto looked from Ryuutaro to Gokudera and back again in surprise. Gokudera really DID act different with him. Really different. Like how he would act with Tsuna different.

"How old are you, Fukami-kun?"

Ryuutaro closed his fan as he replied.
"I'll be fifteen in a while. Though I can't really tell when because we traveled through a few dates. I'm just going with my actual birthday."
Which reminded him that he didn't even know which date they currently had in this world. It could be basically anything, with the way their time-travel-magic worked.
And when they got back to Hayato's actual time, it could be another again for all he knew.
Odd enough that didn't even startle Ryuutaro anymore.

"So when you two met, you were 12?" Yamamoto tilted his head curiously.

"13."

Yamamoto chuckles and gave Hayato a playful nudge in the side. "A bit of a cradle robber then, aren't you?"

And Hayato's cheeks go bright red, and he starts sputtering before he can even form coherent words again.

"G-GO TO HELL IDIOT! I AM NOT!"

Yamamoto just laughs and holds his hands up in surrender.

"Alright, alright you're not!"

Ryuutaro was torn between being weirded out and amused. Yamamoto was right. Hayato was quite a lot older than him. Their relationship could have been considered almost immoral at some point. Not that Ryuutaro cared.
The boy chuckled, making an undefinable movement with his fan.
"Hayato's quite right. We're only a few months apart now and will stay this way from now on", Ryuutaro commented. After a moment he added an afterthought.
"Assuming that fate is finally down with pulling us through times and worlds, that is. But it seems like it."

He'd seen the future of this world. That also had happened in other world's they'd been to, but it had been different. This time it felt more natural. Ryuutaro was fairly sure that it was his parting gift from the Author.

"Fate?" Yamamoto tilted his head curiously, that was an odd way to phrase something.

And Hayato smiled proudly, even if he wasn't special at all his boyfriend was, "He's a fortune-teller." And he just slips his arm around Ryuutaro's waist. He was his fortune-teller.

And Yamamoto perks up too, that was pretty neat... and totally explained why Hayato treated him differently than he did most people. Yamamoto inwardly wondered if he ever referred to Ryuutaro as a UMA...

"Really? So can you tell my fortune? Like read my palms or something?"

And of course Gokudera is going to play bodyguard. "Oi, we're delivering an important message to the boss." and if that smile could get any bigger,"Ryuutaro saw what's keepin' us here."

And much like Hayato had, Yamamoto brightens up at the news ~~but don't worry he won't kiss you Ryuutaro~~, "Really?! That's great!" And without really noticing it, in his glee, Yamamoto had picked up his pace down the halls.

While he was being a picture of beauty and friendlyness to the outside world, Ryuutaro inwardly rolled his eyes at Yamamoto's question. Of course he could, that's what made him a fortune-teller...
But this touch of annoyance vanished as he watched Hayato practically brag with him. It was very much appreciated.
~~Even though he'd be out of business should Hayato keep up getting him away from potential customers~~

"It's just what the fate of this world decided to show me", Ryuutaro casually played things down like he always did. It almost happened automatically by now.

After a rather happy trek down the halls, Yamamoto leads them to a meeting room, since he had, in fact, been told to go fetch Gokudera. They enter a good sized meeting room, with Hibari, Lal Mirch, Reborn, Tsuna, and an older Ryohei- all of which appear to be rather solemn looking. Reborn looked up to the boys.

"It's about time you boys showed up."

Hayato looked around the room a bit worried at the overarching mood. "S-sorry it was my fault... what happened?"

Reborn sighed, "Chrome has taken a turn for the worse. Her illusionary organs began giving out after this was sent from Mukuro." He points to a map of what looks like a base of some sort on a large screen. The middle of the base map, however, is blank. Guess what goes there Ryuutaro.

"It's the Millefiore base."

Once again Ryuutaro knew he wasn't even understanding half of what was going on, but he intently stared at that map.

"This Irie Soichi.... does he belong at that place?"

He was really trying to fit all the pieces together right now. Ryuutaro hated not being able to understand this world. He needed to catch up on everything soon or else he'd get really angry with himself.

Reborn gives Gokudera a bit of a disapproving look. "You haven't filled him in yet?"

Gokudera looked away, he knew he should have, but Ryuutaro had his own burdens to bare, he didn't want to have to dump the burdens of a foreign world on top of him as well. "N-no... I haven't sir..."

The Baby sighs.

"In short, in the future of this world The Millefiore family is hunting down other mafia and turned it targets onto the Volgola. Under the guise of meeting to discuss terms of peace they gunned down the Tsuna of this era and have continued the attacks to the Famiglia. Yamamoto's father and the rest of the Arcobaleno like myself have all been killed in this era, and now possibly Mukuro as well. Irie Soichi is thought to be the one in charge of all of this, and this is his base."

Gokudera seems to shrink with shame when Reborn mentions that the Tenth had been gunned down. He had been there... his older self had been there... and he was powerless to stop it! What kind of right-hand man could fail to that extent?! Yamamoto's own demeanor seems to take a similar turn. He looks off to the side, he couldn't imagine life without his father. And obviously Tsuna seems pretty downtrodden about all of this as well, but reborn continued.

"In five days the Varia are going to create a diversion, hopefully splitting up the Millefiore forces. That is when we will attack this base. But as you all are now it's obvious you don't stand a chance. Now that we've lost Chrome as well, we're even worse off then before. It's up to Tsuna to make the final call. Attack in five days or try and stall so that you lot can improve your skills..."

Messed up.
This place was so messed up. Ryuutaro felt that he'd gotten into some kind of indescribable bizzare whirlpool. But he didn't show anything like that, just calmly listened to the explanation.
At the part about the deaths his face turned even more serious. He felt sorry for everyone, but this was the future. It was fate and there had to be a reason behind all this. Even though after all he'd seen Ryuutaro didn't consider it impossible to change the future anymore.

As Reborn had ended he looked at Gokudera.
"You said the machine was the clue, right? So wouldn't it be enough to just get into the base? The way in is always easier than out."
Not that he actually had understood how the machine was the clue.

Hayato can't look Ryuutaro in the eye during the explanation. He was afraid. Afraid he would see regret on his lover's face. Afraid there would be contempt for him. It had dawned on him that as long as Ryuutaro was with him his life would be in danger... his world was more cruel than Ryuutaro's. When things settled down some he would talk to Ryuutaro. He needed to know the dangers of this world before he made his final decision... and Hayato loved him enough to let him make that decision, regardless of promises they had made.

Though these thoughts are quickly forced away when Ryuutaro brings up the machine. His head snaps up and a weak smile spreads across his face.

"Right the machine! Ryuutaro had a vision! He saw a machine that held our future selves in it! Irie Soichi had it! It's gotta be what's keepin' us here!"

There's a wave of surprise and some muttering for a moment, then Reborn looks up to the blank center of the map and smiles.

"That must be in the guarded chamber here..."

Gokudera smiles at Ryuutaro, and proudly takes his boyfriend's hand, stepping a bit closer to him.

Well, at least that had been useful. Ryuutaro didn't feel quite as lost anymore. The fortune-teller opened his fan with the hand that wasn't occupied holding Hayato's.

"So can you know for sure that you'll be returned to the past when this world's 'you's get free?"

Either way, the way Reborn had sounded it didn't matter too much. The future selves should be strong enough to get them out of that base, right? Ryuutaro's head hurt a bit from thinking in terms as that, but the Manor had done a good job at preparing him for a world more cruel than his own.

"We will have to figure out how to work the machine first. But once we secure the base our mechanic should be able to do it."

Reborn looks to Tsuna.

"But given our situation, it will probably be your order to call it off, hm Tsuna?"

Tsuna looks down for a moment... this was clearly something that had been weighing heavily on the boy. He knew very well that they weren't ready to take on the millefiore but...

he takes a deep breath before he speaks.

"..No. If we go to the enemy's hideout we may be able to return to the past... but it's not just that. I think we'd be able to get a lead on Mukuro as well. And also we may be able to understand what this non-tre-ni-sette is about... but I feel that if we take our time for either, we may already be too late."

Tsuna doesn't take his eyes of the floor as he bites his lip and clenches his fits.

"Besides... I don't want to prolong the current state of affairs any longer. For all our friends here in Namimori... and Chrome, and Lal Mirch, and Fukami-kun too."

and he finally looks up.

"Things are not supposed to be like this at all!"

Gokudera smiles a bit more. That was his boss.

Ryuutaro's respect for Tsuna just raised from not existent into a level of 'barely there, but at least there'. When Hayato had described the Tenth he always imagined some kind of second Ginga. And now he saw some of that.

He closed his fan slowly and silently, without the usual snapping sound and just nods a little bit.

The boy takes a pill bottle and a pair of mittens out of his pocket. He puts on the mittens and takes one of the pills. Suddenly the unsure and meek aura Tsuna emitted seemed to suddenly become cool and level headed, and an orange flame erupted on his forehead.

"We only have five days left. Don't waste a moment of it."

"Of course" Yamamoto smiles as well.

"Yes sir!"Hayato's grip tightened on Ryuutaro's hand, and he just seemed to swell up with pride. The words of his boss just firing him up. When Tsuna leaves the room Hibari smirks and wordlessly follows.

Hayato looks at Ryuutaro with a big smile. He WOULD get stronger. He would help get everyone home, and not lose a soul! That was his job as the Tenth's right hand!

"Well we should dictate who will be training who." Reborn stated with quite the grin himself, "I will train Yamamoto until Squalo gets here to take over. As for Gokudera-"

And then there was the tell-tale sound of Gokudera's stomach.

"I will do it."

And low and behold. Bianchi. Ryuutaro, you might want to catch your boyfriend because he is about to get intimate with the floor at rapid speeds.

As if Ryuutaro would ever let Hayato have intimate moments with anybody....anything else. It was a bit difficult though as Ryuutaro still was the a-bit-too-thin boy he always has been, but launching spinning tops all this time pays off. Somehow.

So as he was standing there, holding his boyfriend, he turned to smile at Bianchi. This bittersweet kind of smile.

"Are you perfectly sure that this is a good idea?"

"We're siblings, it's unsurprising that the strongest attribute of my wave energy is also storm." She smiled at her semi-conscious brother, "Second, if you complete your training successfully I have something to reward you... something from father."

Hayato's head lolled a bit as he struggled to remain awake, shakily trying to get on his feet again. He's failing of course, but he's supporting some of his own weight at least.

"Father?"

Hayato unfortunately makes the mistake of looking over to his sister again... and all the effort he was putting into staying conscious just fails. His stomach gurgles and he just passes out.

Yamamoto chuckles nervously, and goes to help Ryuutaro with Gokudera, "Um Bianchi, maybe you should put the goggles on?"

"Oh right. Of course." And she does so... not that Hayato is awake to see it.

"We should let him lay down for a few minutes... you guys stayed in the library right?"

... Hayato's father? Ryuutaro blinked a bit. What would his father, the man with the infamous fishing trips, still have for Hayato?
The thoughts are cut off by Hayato's fainting though. It was kind of amazing to see this strong boy knocked out so easily.

The fortune-teller looked up at Yamamoto, smiling his signature-smirk.
"Yes, that's where we've been and letting him lay down sounds like a very good idea. In this condition he can hardly do anything."

And Hayato being unconscious meant that Ryuutaro was basically alone in this weird world once again. But he needed to get used to it and he was getting better with it. Much better.

Yamamoto starts the trek back to the library, helping Ryuutaro carry Gokudera to the library.

"Yeah, I'm surprised he actually managed to stay conscious that long. Usually he's out cold as soon as he sees her." He laugh a little, "Though she's sort of gotten better about covering her face."

Key words there being 'sort of'.

They make it to the library and Yamamoto lays Hayato down on the little make-shift bed setup they had, and then takes a seat off to the side. He figured it wouldn't be right to just leave Ryuutaro alone to care for the unconscious teen, so being the friendly person he is, he thought it would be nice to keep him company. Besides... this wasn't the first time he had looked out for Gokudera after he fell victim to his sister's face.

"So, Fukami, have you ever seen Hayato's future before?"

Yamamoto couldn't know just how much Ryuutaro was not interested in spending time with it and it was not like the fortune-teller's behaviour was giving it away.
But at least he could talk about his ability. Really talk about it, not the unsure talks he had at the Manor, knowing he could not prove most of the things.

"Indeed, I did. Mostly before he went through some... inconveniences", which was a really nice way of putting it, "But nothing about his adult life, if you mean that."
Ryuutaro opened his fan, so that it was in front of his face once again.

"Aww, that's a shame. Tsuna said he met the Gokudera from this era when he first arrived... and that he was actually really calm, and level headed. I was wondering if you had seen any of that."

Because, dear god, the idea of Gokudera growing up to be a sane adult is ultimately FASCINATING and HILARIOUS at the SAME TIME.

"So what sort of things do you usually see in the future?"

Calm and level-headed? It seemed hard to imagine, but Ryuutaro knew that Hayato was capable of really surprising him sometimes. The change from his childhood self to who he was now was already fascinating enough, but there were enough other sides to Hayato that weren't easy to find, but definitely worth any effort.
Ryuutaro was curious as of how the future would look and it bothered him that he wasn't the first one to see it. He should have been.

The question about his ability was once again very welcome. And that opened fan will now move in a dramatic gesture.
"You're asking something that can hardly be specified in a few words. I have many different ways of seeing what will be. As you sure will have heard there's a lot of different ways of fortune-telling in this world and each will give you different results. Naturally, only if you do it right. But for me, I'm especially specialized in advice and information concerning a time-span of about a month."
It was true, the far-away future didn't usually concern him so much. Where to go now, if a day would be good or bad just always seemed far more important. Even though he felt as if he'd have to advance and adapt in this world.

"A month? So fortune-teller can decide to specialize how far they see in the future?"

Just then there are some groans and grunts from the teenager on the ground as he starts to wake up....

to Yamamoto's face.

The fuck is the baseball idiot doing here?! In a half-asleep attempt to make Yamamoto disappear Hayato grabs a pillow and gracelessly stuffs it in the other boys' face. Of course this doesn't bother Yamamoto in least, who is just laughing it off, much to Gokudera's annoyance.

... oh, Hayato.
"Welcome back in the world of consciousness", Ryuutaro smiled, observing the interaction between Yamamoto and Hayato. It was an odd kind of familiarity they had there.

"Or at least the world of actively noticing something about your surroundings."
That probably wasn't an expression at all and a bit long too be one, but what did he care?
