When Hayato found himself back in his world, alone, he naturally had written off what happened at the manor as a dream... but at the same time... he couldn’t help but feel the pangs of heartbreak. He felt stupid for falling for something that had to have been a dream.... but the idea of having someone that loved him for just being him... it... it was too good to be true... but didn’t matter now. He had to push his feelings aside. His future self had failed the Tenth, now he was in the future with his boss to try to prevent this from happening. But it wasn’t easy, the Vongola were being hunted for their Vongola rings by the Millefiore family. While he didn't want to admit it... he was scared. He had already failed the Tenth once, he was in this strange foreign world where there was a price on his head, and to top it all off he had lost the boy who loved him.... naturally his mood had taken a SPECIAL turn south. He had already lashed out on Yamamoto a few times. Now him and the baseball idiot were screwed into an all knew lifetime because he lost his temper. One of the Millefiore generals had engaged them in a fight, Yamamoto was down, and now Hayato was being toyed with by Gamma. The man had him pinned on the ground, stepping on his hand until their was a sickening crack. Hayato screamed in agony but refused to say a word... he would gladly die for his boss’s sake. This was all his fault to begin with. If he hadn’t acted out... if his future self hadn’t failed his boss....

Yamamoto couldn't know just how much Ryuutaro was not interested in spending time with it and it was not like the fortune-teller's behaviour was giving it away.
But at least he could talk about his ability. Really talk about it, not the unsure talks he had at the Manor, knowing he could not prove most of the things.

"Indeed, I did. Mostly before he went through some... inconveniences", which was a really nice way of putting it, "But nothing about his adult life, if you mean that."
Ryuutaro opened his fan, so that it was in front of his face once again.

"Aww, that's a shame. Tsuna said he met the Gokudera from this era when he first arrived... and that he was actually really calm, and level headed. I was wondering if you had seen any of that."

Because, dear god, the idea of Gokudera growing up to be a sane adult is ultimately FASCINATING and HILARIOUS at the SAME TIME.

"So what sort of things do you usually see in the future?"

Calm and level-headed? It seemed hard to imagine, but Ryuutaro knew that Hayato was capable of really surprising him sometimes. The change from his childhood self to who he was now was already fascinating enough, but there were enough other sides to Hayato that weren't easy to find, but definitely worth any effort.
Ryuutaro was curious as of how the future would look and it bothered him that he wasn't the first one to see it. He should have been.

The question about his ability was once again very welcome. And that opened fan will now move in a dramatic gesture.
"You're asking something that can hardly be specified in a few words. I have many different ways of seeing what will be. As you sure will have heard there's a lot of different ways of fortune-telling in this world and each will give you different results. Naturally, only if you do it right. But for me, I'm especially specialized in advice and information concerning a time-span of about a month."
It was true, the far-away future didn't usually concern him so much. Where to go now, if a day would be good or bad just always seemed far more important. Even though he felt as if he'd have to advance and adapt in this world.

"A month? So fortune-teller can decide to specialize how far they see in the future?"

Just then there are some groans and grunts from the teenager on the ground as he starts to wake up....

to Yamamoto's face.

The fuck is the baseball idiot doing here?! In a half-asleep attempt to make Yamamoto disappear Hayato grabs a pillow and gracelessly stuffs it in the other boys' face. Of course this doesn't bother Yamamoto in least, who is just laughing it off, much to Gokudera's annoyance.

... oh, Hayato.
"Welcome back in the world of consciousness", Ryuutaro smiled, observing the interaction between Yamamoto and Hayato. It was an odd kind of familiarity they had there.

"Or at least the world of actively noticing something about your surroundings."
That probably wasn't an expression at all and a bit long too be one, but what did he care?

Hayato looks over to Ryuutaro, and does his world-famous 180's and instantly brightens up.

"Ryuutaro!" He rubs the back of his neck nervously, "ah... how long have I been out?"

Yamamoto looks surprised for a moment, he was used to seeing Gokudera do this with Tsuna, but no one else. He had hardly believed it when Tsuna told him Hayato was dating someone... anyone, nevermind another boy. He was planning on leaving as soon as Hayato woke up, but curiosity got the better of him. He wanted to try and see how this relationship worked... because at first glance it really didn't look like it would. He could maybe see them being friends because of Gokudera's ~~unhealthy~~ obsession with the occult, and Ryuutaro's willingness to explain his part in it, but a relationship? He had only really seen him make friends by... well... acting the way he did towards himself and Ryohei. Tsuna being a special exception for being the one to take him off the streets.

He would question Ryuutaro about it, but with Gokudera in the room... and awake, he would probably just shoot down all the questions before Ryuutaro had a chance to answer...

Ryuutaro would never tired of seeing Hayato's behavior change like this, least of all when he was the reason. And if it was added by something like Yamamoto's startled look, which naturally did not go unnoticed, it made it even better. Ryuutaro had been developing some kind of possessiveness since they came to this world, similar of how Hayato had been when people recognized him in his world, which would probably vanish after a while, but hadn't yet.

"Not too long, don't worry."
Ryuutaro closed his fan. "Are you feeling better?"
If Yamamoto had known Ryuutaro, he'd notice that Hayato wasn't the only one who's behavior completely changed when they were together. Maybe it was much less noticeable with Ryuutaro, but the changes clearly were there. Being with his boyfriend filled those empty masks he wore with honesty.

Hayato keeps beaming at his boyfriend as he nods, "Yeah, much! Thanks."

Yamamoto watches for a moment more... before deciding to bother Gokudera one last time before he was inevitably booted out by Gokudera. "It's strange to see you smile so much, Gokudera! I was afraid that scowl would get stuck on your face."

And that scowl instantly makes a reappearance and his hair SNAPS to Yamamoto.

"That fuck does it matter to you?! Why are you even still here! Piss off!"

And that is a pillow repeatedly getting mashed into Yamamoto's face... who is still laughing holding his hands up defensively to block the pillow a bit.

"Alright, alright I'm going." and he gets up, "Later Hayao, Fukami."

"It's GOKUDERA!"

It was odd to be called Fukami or something similar by the people in this world. His own world had been very first-name based, at least between people of the same age. He didn't have a problem with being addressed this way, but it was kind of strange.

Ryuutaro didn't speak again until Yamamoto had left the room.
"Your smile does look better though."
And yet he's perfectly content with it being a privilege to see it. And that's pretty clear by his tone, too.

A little blush spreads across his face, as he calms down from his fuming at Yamamoto.... and then the smile comes back. He leans forward to gently bump his face against Ryuutaro's, he was glad to be alone with his boyfriend for a bit before he had to start training. He wouldn't be able to spend as much time with him. While he hated the idea of leaving Ryuutaro alone in a foreign world for so long, he knew it would ultimately be for the better. To almost make up for what he was about to say he leans forward to give Ryuutaro a loving kiss.

"Ryuutaro... I'm goin' to have to start really trainin' soon..."

"I'm aware of that", Ryuutaro replied confidently, "And I'm certainly not stopping you."
He could manage in this world alone. He just had to, everything else would be beyond ridiculous.
There was much he had to learn about, too. Even if this world was similar to his, they were far from being the same. Ryuutaro needed to know more and this library should be a good start.

And he needed to practice, too. Even if he'd naturally not turn into a fighter suddenly, Pisces was now very important for self-defense.

Hayato nodded, and smiled.

"Well... I'm sure I got a little time before I have to go..."

The teen leans forward and wraps his arms around Ryuutaro, meeting his boyfriend's lips with his own. He hardly got enough time alone with his boyfriend as it was, he was at least going to make sure that they were on good terms before he left. That and he missed just kissing and holding Ryuutaro.

Mhm... kisses were always nice. How did Hayato get Ryuutaro to get so physical anyway?
The fortune-teller leaned in, his hands loosely tangling up in Hayato's clothes, and returned that kiss full-heartedly.
Even if he was expecting someone to walk in on them. It seemed likely for that to happen a lot as long as they were in this place and things were so busy.
Then again, Japanese modesty aside, he wouldn't even care too much to be seen kissing Hayato... again.

Hayato pulls his boyfriend onto his lap and holds him tightly as he continues to kiss him. Really kiss him. Not even a full minute into the kiss and Hayato grinds his thigh between Ryuutaro's legs to get that typical little gasp out of his boyfriend, so he could slip his tongue into his lover's mouth. He was going to make the most of this kiss and he didn't care who saw them...

...well if Tsuna came in and started flailing then maybe... but everyone else could go fuck themselves.

Ryuutaro gladly lets his boyfriend access his mouth and even adds this gasp with a little content sigh.
Over the years he'd finally learned how to kiss back properly and right now he does so affectionately. He leaned in as much as possible, tongue brushing against tongue.

Ryuutaro clearly isn't intending on breaking this any sooner than absolutely necessary.

If his mouth wasn't already occupied, Hayato would be smiling something special. For as long as he was like this he could simply forget all his problems and fears. As long as he was wrapped around this warm, sweet, soft little body, everything was okay.

While he wasn't planning on going too far with this, Hayato slipped his hand into Ryuutaro's yukata, running it over his ribcage and stomach, and even wandering up to his chest and neck. He could really never get enough when it came to touching his lover.

Greedy boyfriend he had here. Ryuutaro felt himself blush a little, one hand tightening it's hold of Hayato's shirt while the other let go, traveling up to the back of Hayato's neck, drawing circles there.

For a moment he has to break away from the kiss to breathe properly (and take the chance to look at Hayato for a little moment), but then he already leans in again to continue it.

Hayato was hesitant to break the kiss as first, letting out a little muffed groan in protest... until he realized just how short on air he was. He gasps for breath for a few moment, looking right into Ryuutaro's eye's with his flushes face. And then when he leans in to Ryuutaro to begin kissing him again, he whispers to him, his lips brushing against Ryuutaro's as he speaks.

"I can feel your heartbeat..."

And it was an amazing feeling...

Ironically the moment Hayato said that, Ryuutaro could practically feel his heartbeat fasten a bit. His eyelids go down again as they got back to kissing. This was the most romantic make-out they had in a while and Ryuutaro was enjoying every bit of it.
The hand he had placed at Hayato's neck wanders further up, through his boyfriend's hair and over his cheek in a loving petting-movement.

As much as they were both enjoying the intimate moment together, all good things must come to an end. After a few more minutes of passionate kissing, with Gokudera feeling up his lover's chest... and his other hand occasionally wandering down to his boyfriend's rear, and enjoying Ryuutaro's gentle sensual touches, the oh-so-familiar voice of Bianchi rings out from the door.

"I do believe Tsuna said not to waste any time, Hayato."

Importance of training or not, Ryuutaro does not like getting interrupted at times like this. With an annoyed sigh he breaks away. For a moment his disapproval is clearly to be seen on his face, but then his usual expression returns.

"Looks like you have to get going then."

Gokudera lingers for a moment before separating, then fixes Ryuutaro's yukata, as it had slipped a little when he was exploring his boyfriend's chest. Once that's done he moves his hand to Ryuutaro's cheek, gently caressing it with his thumb.

"Sorry."

And he gives Ryuutaro one more quick peck on the lips, before getting up. Bianchi simply lets out a sigh.

"It's not like you're being sent to your death Hayato, unless you think you're too weak to survive the training."

He scoffs, "With you, I never know."

She shakes her head and ignores her brother's words, "Ryuutaro, you're welcome to come watch if you like."

Ryuutaro ponders for a moment. It was either watching or being alone in the library. Watching this world's kind of training would surely be interesting. It was probably much more informative than reading this world's books. Besides he could stay where Hayato was - always a plus.

He nods gracefully. "That would be very interesting for sure. Thank you."

Hayato brightens up a little, well now at least he wouldn't be too far away from his boyfriend. Naturally Hayato takes Ryuutaro's hand as they walk down the hall. While Hayato was shy about most public displays of affection, this he was alright with, this an maybe a few little pecks here and there when the mood was right.

Which unfortunately with Bianchi around, it was not.

They enter a little control room that overlooks a room that seems to be simulating a sandstorm in it. Bianchi rather abruptly shoves a backpack into her brother's arms, and pushes him to the door to the room with the storm in it.

"OI! I can walk on my own! Piss off!" He separates from his sister and turns to Ryuutaro for a moment, "Can I have a kiss for good luck?"

Because who better than to give good luck kisses?

As if Hayato hadn't already have enough kisses today... but honestly, who is Ryuutaro to deny him? Especially when this was about good luck. Ryuutaro wouldn't miss out on a chance to say those two words.

The fortune-teller chuckles and leans forward to give Hayato the sweetest little kiss imaginable.
"May good luck come your way", he whispers affectionately before stepping back to let Hayato do whatever he had to do now.
