Once the chaos was over, Hayato slowly lifted himself off of Ryuutaro and sat back a little so he could shake the debris off himself without showering Ryuutaro in it.
Then he looked around a bit... at the lack of base... and subsequently large hole in the ground. All surprise aside, he sits next to Ryuutaro and puts his arm around him for support. As scared as he was about everything he could only imagine what Ryuutaro just went through. If he thought destroyed stadiums were a big deal...
Still, he wanted to try and help him feel better so he looked up at the now exposed sky and smiled a little.
"Well, at least we're outside now." He nuzzled his head against Ryuutaro, remembering something he had told him during the slasher week plot that seemed to be very relevent for the time being, "At least the sky's still blue."
