After looking around, a bit awed himself, the sound of Ryuutaro laughing caught his attention. Hayato beamed, and his chest felt light. Ryuutaro looked so happy.... it was such a relief....

... such a relief in fact that he started laughing too. He leaned over to give Ryuutaro a peck on the cheek. They were home. Even despite the mess they were in... and that this wasn't the home they would know when they went back into their right time... none of that mattered at the moment.

He was just so happy... he couldn't find the words. He reached over to take Ryuutaro's hand and give it a squeeze before bringing it to his lips to kiss his lover's fingers.
