Yeeeeeeesh >w< It is just so... so. >w<

Ryuutaro had closed his eyes, but they opened again when Hayato started announcing his question. Such a long build-up seemed odd... And then he knew why it was so long.
His eyes widened even more as he just stared at Hayato for a moment, wondering if he heard correctly. Then again, he most likely did... Somehow something like this just seemed to fit Hayato a lot. Only that if Ryuutaro had ever thought about it, he would've expected a lot more stuttering. But at the moment Hayato seemed to be half-asleep, so maybe it made sense.
So much for the situation... Now that Ryuutaro was done with this, he had to focus on the question itself.

Marry...?
Against his will he felt his heartbeat pick up speed. This was... just so silly. They were so young, they were both male... and this was hardly the appropriate set-up for a marriage proposal! Far from doing this properly... And did he even mean what he said or was this sleep-talking?

All those things were running through Ryuutaro's head, but somehow he couldn't bring himself to focus on them as much as he was supposed to. Instead he just repeated the word in his head again and again, looking at Hayato's smile while doing so.
Marry him?
Such a silly thought, such a poor set-up and yet... Ryuutaro felt his cheeks turn red, something that rarely ever happened.
"Y-you..." didn't just ask this, did you?

And then he laughed lightly. Against all sanity, he felt happy and light. He had the silliest, oddest, most difficult boyfriend in the world and he couldn't imagine anything better than spending his life with him.
He looked up at Hayato again, a smile on his face.

"Yes", he then replied solemnly, wondering what he was even doing and thinking. He wanted to make a remark about the unappropriate situation for this, but then he bit it back, because this moment... should be cherished as it was. "My future is your future and yours is mine."
This time it came easy to him, because essentially he had already said it moments ago. Hayato could have him, all of him, because he trusted him to not make belonging painful.
