For a little while Ryuutaro didn't understand what Hayato was trying to tell him, but with a bit of thinking the pieces finally found their way together.
"That man... h-he talked about killing you... you 'both'. So he's supposedly... in the same state as you."
Ryuutaro really didn't feel like going over to check. He didn't want to leave Hayato's side even for a second and that boy was just a stranger.

Ryuutaro took a deep breath, trying to keep his sanity. He let his finger gently pet Hayato's face some more, an attempt to calm them both down.
"We're going to get through this...", he whispered even though he had no idea if that was true, "It will be fine... It will be fine..."
