Ryuutaro let the kiss last, sincerely enjoying the closeness that would've scared him once upon a time. Everything had changed since meeting Hayato for the first time (in space, how much more spectacular could it get?) and then again nothing at all. It wasn't like Ryuutaro's entire attitude concerning trust had changed, it wasn't like he'd see people as more than temporary companions. It was just Hayato who he made an exception for. Love, trust, being together... it was a bit as if Hayato had become an extension of himself over the time, because these were things he usually only gave himself (in endless self-confidence like his it was very well possible to love yourself a bit more than you should). How ironic that he'd found his other half in someone who was his opposite in every matter. It had made things pretty difficult in the past, but thankfully they were mostly over that - even though there were some differences they would probably never get past and that was fine, too.
Ryuutaro wrapped his arms around the older boy. When they finally broke apart he gave Hayato's tear-stained face a look of teasing disapproval. "Really now... ", he whispered, moving forward to kiss each of his boyfriend's eyes. He was getting more and more comfortable with initiating touch himself and by now actually was far enough to start playing around with romantic gestures himself.
