Bianchi's eyes narrowed at the refusal to answer the first question. She didn't tolerate arrogance well, at least not when directed at her. However, the next statement completely switches her tone. Boyfriend? Sure, she had a feeling her brother might lean that way... but for him to actually find love? Her expression soften into a smile, and she took a pair of sun glasses from her pocket and put them on before turning to the door. She knew what this was about now at least, and she was more than happy to step in on her brother's behalf.

She peered back over her shoulder at Ryuutaro for a moment, "I would like to talk to you two about this further once this incident is ov-"

Just then there's the unmistakable sound of a gunshot, followed by a cry from Hayato. Bianchi's face went pale and she burst into the room. Hayato was on the floor holding a wound on his stomach, which was bleeding rapidly. He also was sporting a cut to his forehead where he had been struck with the butt of his father's gun, and a swollen cheek and bloody lip from taking a hit to the face. He shakily pulled his hand back to look at the blood in horror. Then looked up at his father looking shocked and crushed at the same time. Was he really that horrible of a person?

Bianchi quickly rushed to her brother's side and pressed his hand back against the injury, muttering to him in Italian to try and keep him calm. Hayato still kept his focus on his father, who didn't have so much as a scratch on him. While Hayato could have easily defended himself, he didn't even so much as draw his weapon against him.

After a mere moment that seemed like an eternity, Hayato's father finally spoke up, in Japanese to make sure all in room understood, "If that thing makes it through this, inform it that it is no longer any son of mine!" And with that he spat at Hayato's feet and stormed off.

Bianchi had half a mind to go after him, as she was clearly irate, but making sure Hayato was okay took priority. Hayato on the other hand seemed heartbroken and on the verge of tears... he... was being disowned? His head started to spin, and everything just seemed to hurt. The last thing he though before he blacked out if those were going to be the last words he would hear in his lifetime.
