Ryuutaro almost wanted to close his eyes as he listened, trying to summon up images of these events before his eyes, but that might have looked really odd, so he kept them open.
Sadly he could imagine younger Hayato getting beaten up just too well... Maybe he didn't even need to close his eyes after all.
He wasn't sure what to make out of this story, but he was thankful for this Marco-person's existance. Hayato would have needed so much more people like that back then.
